How to open a PowerPoint without PowerPoint

You received a .pptx deck and do not have PowerPoint. You can view it with its original design, present it or make changes from your browser.

View it exactly as designed

  1. Open the document viewer.
  2. Drop the .pptx file.
  3. You will see every slide with its layout, images and colors. You can print it or save it as PDF.

Edit it

  1. In the viewer, click Edit in TS Slides, or open TS Slides and use Open .pptx.
  2. Text, images, positions and speaker notes are imported.
  3. Double-click to edit, drag to move and use the blue corner to resize.
  4. Save with Save .pptx or PDF.

Approximate import: animations, transitions, charts, tables and some theme colors are not imported for editing. To keep everything, edit in PowerPoint or Google Slides and use the viewer just to view.

Present without PowerPoint

In TS Slides press F5 or Present: the deck goes full screen and you advance with the arrow keys, space bar or a click. Press Esc to exit.

Frequently asked questions

Can I view a PowerPoint on my phone?

Yes. The viewer runs in your phone browser.

Are animations kept?

The viewer does not play animations but shows each slide layout. They are not imported for editing either.

Can I convert PowerPoint to PDF?

Yes, with the viewer Print / Save as PDF button.
